This discussion of Tartuffe will be led by critic Olga Fedyanina, who is also the author of the stage version of this production staged by Philippe Grigoryan.
The themes of the conversation will be: Why is Tartuffe Rasputin in this production? Why did the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre require two separate seating areas for the audience? And why does Moliere’s classic text sound both grotesque and contemporary at the same time?
