Yevgeny Kazachkov

Kazachkov has collaborated with Teatr.doc, the Taganka Theatre, Praktika Theatre and the Grigory Kozlov Workshop in St. Petersburg. He won first prize at the Texture-2013 festival in Perm; is a co-organizer of the Repost festival; and leads the screenwriting workshop in the Higher School of Artistic Practice and Museum Technologies in the Department of Art History at Russian Humanitarian University. He teaches at the Moscow Film School. He is the art director and co-organizer of the Lyubimovka festival of young plays. In 2011, Kazachkov translated Nilo Cruz's Anna in the Tropics for the New American Plays for Russia project. This translation debuted in performance in a production by Alexander Ogaryov in 2015 on the stage of the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre.
