Lighting designer
As a lighting designer Sergei Vasilyev has designed productions in various Moscow theatres, including Praktika (Agatha Returns Home, directed by Philipp Grigoryan and Grace and Fortitude, directed by Ivan Vyrypaev), the Theatre of Nations (Three Days in Hell, directed by Dmitry Volkostrelov), the Dmitry Krymov Laboratory at the School of Dramatic Art, and others.
He received a Golden Mask award in 2015 as Best Lighting Designer for his work on Exhibit / Awakening, directed by Anna Abalikhina for the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg.
